Exceptional service for the community
Bad Camberg. The operational strength for some volunteer fire brigade is in danger. Many active firemen are not available during the day as they are commuters.
Here lies the responsibility with the fire departments and the council to take measures to get enough volunteers to the fire sites. One of the appropriate steps is to ensure that firemen are preferably employed a repeatedly emphasized point of the fire brigades.
Some local enterprises are actually following their duty in this regard, which naturally can lead to the fact that employees may be called away from work at any time.
Weber Bürstensysteme in Erbach is one of those companies which act in an exemplary way. The firemen Peter Hoffmann and Frank Welker are employed by Weber Bürstensysteme and are regularly exempt from work for the firemen duties as well as for further training. Generally this can’t be taken for granted says the chairman of the district fire brigade association, Franz-Josef Sehr. He says it proves a high sense of responsibility for the community. Not only are the premises regularly made available for major drills but also in the past one building supposed to be demolished could be used for a heat training session. Mr Sehr presented Mr Ulrich Menken, CEO of Weber Bürstensysteme with the award “partner of the fire brigade”. Mr Menken called his own actions a matter of course and said that getting this award bestows also honour to the fire brigade.

We are glad that two of your employees have invested time and energy to complete each an in depth training course.
Nicole Randecker has already in January taken the exams as Purchasing Manager. She passed the exams with great success.
In March Christan Hartmann passed the exams as business administrator and cleaning and hygiene manager with great success.
We congratulate both and are happy to see that both profitably include their newly acquired knowledge in their respective areas.

On the front page of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung we can see Weber brushes in action. Even if the federal chancellor Angela Merkel is on an rocky path within her own party we are happy to make way for her: Weber brushes in front of the office of the federal chancellor in Berlin.
